Outreach/Missionaries.....

John and Danuta
Abramovich are missionaries in Skoczow, Poland.
John Abramovich was born in Harrisburg, Pa. His family moved to Runnemede, N.J.
in 1965. For many years, John was active in leading youth and young adult
ministries in local churches in the South Jersey area. John also taught a weekly
Bible Study for young people and Sunday School for children.
Danuta was born in Wisla, Poland. She taught Sunday School in her local church
and did volunteer ministry work among children. In 1990 she became a full time
worker with the MED childrens ministry in Poland. Danuta became the director of
MED in 1992. She and John were married in 1995.
In their current ministry in Poland they continue to work with the Polish MED
ministry. Danuta is actively involved in the MED teacher training program, and
the Summer Bible Camps for children. She also assists with Bible Clubs,
childrens meetings, and two annual workers retreats. MED also conducts meetings
in public schools for students and teachers, hosts meetings for parents and
church workers, and prints Christian teaching materials.
John teaches a
Bible Study for teenagers, in Holiday Bible Clubs, in camps, and in meetings
sponsored by local church youth groups. He preaches once a month at the Baptist
Church in Orzesze and teaches regularly in three Home Fellowship Bible Study
groups. John is learning to speak Polish; uses his musical talent whenever
possible, and assists the Polish MED workers with their correspondence and
publications; and in preparing English language versions of their newsletters.
John and Danuta ask that you pray for them and their Polish MED coworkers. Pray
that the hearts of the people in Poland will open to the Good News of Salvation
in Jesus Christ.
