Missions Moment

"As we celebrate together the good news the Christ is born, may the hope and peace of Christmas bless your life"

Christmas is one of the most holy and anticipated times of the year for Christians all around the world. Similar preparations and traditions, decorations celebrations, music, and worship observances, the giving of gifts, and gathering of families and friends; all of these rituals that mark this important event in the life of our faith are replicated by Christians everywhere.

During this holy season, please take a moment to remember our missionaries. Pray for them; that God will keep them safe; and grant them His guidance and peace.

We are adding their addresses, and encourage you to send a holiday card or note. We are also including E mail addresses, so that you can send messages of encouragement and support.

Steve and Gail Quigg

Steve and Gail Quigg continue to develop and conduct aviation safety programs for Mission Safety International. They train missionary pilots who fly into remote areas, shrinking the miles, lightening the load of missionaries, and giving wings to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Steve writes, "It is our privilege to serve those who serve the Lord so well."

Jim and Alice Vanderhoof have served in Kenya since 1984. As field directors of an administrative team, they work to move the ministries of their missionaries forward by offering advice and encouragement, solving problems and tending to administrative tasks.  The Vanderhoofs arrived in the U.S. on Home Assignment in August, just in time to greet their new grand daughter, Lana Elizabeth Price.

We had the pleasure of meeting Jim and Alice on Tues. Nov. 25th. They plan to return to Kenya in January.

Many children opened their hearts to the Lord Jesus, and are joining Bible study groups, and Sunday school classes. John and Dasia are encouraged by the many blessing that result from their ministry to the children of Poland.
