Music Opportunities
Pitman United Methodist Church has many opportunities to share your musical gifts & talents. Susan L. Crispin is our Choir Director. Currently, PUMC has 4 vocal choirs, a Praise Band, a Men's Praise Team, and an Adult Bell Choir. Those interested in playing Instrumentals during offertory or special services, please see Sue Crispin.
- Cherub Choir meets Thursday Nights from 6 - 6:30 PM and is under the direction of Ellen Taylor
- Joy Filled Juniors meet Thursdays from 6 - 7 PM and is under the direction of Staci Scheetz
- Teens of Praise and Song meets the 1st & 3rd Thursdays and is under the direction of Sue Crispin
- Voices in Praise (Adult Choir) meets Thursday's at 7:00 PM and is under the direction of Sue Crispin
2011 Christmas Cantata
Our choirs recently presented the cantata, "Tapestry of Light." It is a mixture of familiar Celtic carols put to fresh words.
The christmas cantata is a long standing tradition in our church, and like the many years in the past which proceeded this year's edition, it was a Spirit-filled afternoon which put everyone in the right Christmas Spirit. Just one more way where we strive to "Keep Christ in Christmas."
