Our Father's House, an outreach of the Pitman United Methodist Church, believes that children learn through play. Your child will discover the joy of learning, building friendships, and preparing for kindergarten with organized games and age appropriate instruction.

We provide a Christian educational experience designed to help each child grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, cognitively, emotionally and physically.  Above all, we believe that young children need to know and experience that they are loved, valued and enjoyed.

Curriculum: Our Father's House uses a Christian preschool curriculum. This curriculum addresses the following skills from a Christ-centered perspective.

Language: The program teaches skills necessary for early reading and writing, through the use of phonemic awareness and letter, word, and number recognition.

Math: The program introduces an understanding of numbers, and the concepts of ordering, sorting, counting, patterning, grouping, adding and subtracting. Shapes are also introduced through these concepts.

Science: The program introduces observing, comparing, classifying, measuring, discussing, reporting and predicting skills.

Social Studies: The program introduces geography, history, map reading, cultural awareness, and social studies concepts.

A 10 Month Program (Early September to Mid-June):

*Two and ½ Year Old Class     Must be two and ½ on or before Oct. 1st

• Meets: Tues & Thurs

• Time: 8:45 AM -- 11:15 AM

• Tuition: $1,125.00/year or $125.00/month

* Three Year-Old Program        Must be three on or before Oct. 1st

• Two Days (2 classes)

  • Meets: Tues & Thurs (class #1) and Wed & Friday (class #2)

  • Time: 8:45 am - 11:15 am

  • Tuition: $1,225.00/year or $125.00/month

• Three Days (1 class)

  • Meets: Mon / Wed / Fri

  • Time: 8:45 am - 11:15 am

  • Tuition: $1,620/year or $180.00/month

* Pre-K Program        Must be four on or before Oct.1st

• Three Days

  • Meets: Tues / Wed / Thurs

  • Time: 8:30 am - 11:00 am

  • Tuition: $1,620.00/year or $180.00/month

• Four Days

  • Meets: Tues / Wed / Thurs / Fri

  • Time: 8:30 am - 11:00 am

  • Tuition: $1935.00/year or $215.00/month

*Age Requirement

All children entering the program must be at least 2 ½, 3, or 4 years old by October 1st. Placement in the Pre-K program is designed for four year-olds. Placement in any program will be up to the Director and parents. Classes are based on availability and enrollment.

Policies:

• There is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee charged at the time of application.
   

• Tuition payments (August 1 - May 1) are due the first of the month. A late fee of $25.00 will be applied to your account after the fifteenth of the month. Any problems, please contact the Treasurer or Director (Debbie Slenkamp - debbieslenkamp@pitmanumc.org or ourfathershouse@pitmanumc.org) before the due date.
   

• Discounts are available for Pitman United Methodist Church members (- $10.00/month), families with two or more children enrolled in the same year (-$15.00/month) and those wishing to make one annual tuition payment (-10%).
   

• Need based scholarships are also available upon request. If applicable, please request this information from the Director or download the scholarship form above.
   

• We would like all students to be potty trained. Pull ups are acceptable if needed.
