Joy grew up in Mullica Hill, the daughter of a Methodist minister.  She currently works for World Global Missions at Tenwek Community Health and Development in Kenya, the largest hospital in Africa.  Tenwek's mission is to serve Christ by promoting change through healthcare and development within needy communities.

Joy is a missionary nurse; who trains hospital personnel, holds clinics and gives immunizations in surrounding communities.  She also attends churches and works to build relationships in these communities.  Joy must also write proposals for the hospital accreditation and to raise funds for operational expenses.

Joy asks for your prayers as they prepare for the future.  Pray that their planning will reconcile God, man and the environment.  On December 27, 2002, Kenya elected a new president.  Please pray that his new government will bring peace and prosperity to the people of Kenya.

Joy appreciates your prayers, support, encouragement, and interest.  She can be reached at: PO Box 39, Bomet, Kenya.
