God is powerfully moving at Pitman United Methodist Church! We feel the Holy Spirit as we worship, study God’s Word, move into the world through missions, and all are invited to eat dinner together on Tuesday nights with Bible studies for everyone!
Worship touches the heart of God and stirs our hearts toward greater blessing! Biblical preaching connects with today’s issues for faith filled possibilities. Inspiring music creates a longing for God, a joy for living and hope for tomorrow. We are sent blessed to be a blessing.
Having praised the living God, we move to change the world! Literally, we are changing the world! We participate in local missions like Habitat for Humanity, Pitman Pantry, Camden Neighborhood Center, AND global missions: from La Palmilla, Mexico, to Kafkumba Pastor’s School in Zambia, Africa. We find many ways to serve!
The Bible studies create a passion for influencing others to know Jesus. On Tuesday night dinners, we have Bible Studies for all ages! Our Tuesday adult classes are following a video tour of the Holy Lands which presents the historical cultural background of familiar Bible passages, and then lays down a challenging "Faith Lesson" from the passage. Beyond the studies held in our church building, many home groups study God’s Word. Children and youth lean on Jesus to share Jesus with others!
We are passionate to know Jesus, go into the world and grow deeper in faith. We invite you to experience our love for Jesus and a hope for a better day!
